Adult Learning Lesson 6

The sixth lesson in this series focuses on Invites, essential parts of having a conversation in Kiowa. There are several types of questions, statements, and responses in this lesson. The first page focuses on questions and statements as well as the appropriate response, and options for responding, for each question and statement. This page is in Kiowa only to encourage the learner to begin using Kiowa first in questions, statements, and responses. Page 2 focus on vocabulary and grammar that are included in the questions, statements, and responses in this lesson. On page 3 are the Kiowa Phrase Translations for the questions, statements, and responses included in the target language for this lesson. Then, on page 4, Kiowa Conversational Practice, the learner will find the target phrases in the form of conversations between two speakers. The English form is given so the learner can practice recalling and pronouncing the Kiowa phrases in this lesson. Finally, on page 5, the learner will find various flashcards that can be used in independent Kiowa language learning, as needed.

Another way to practice the target phrases in this lesson is to go to StudyStack.com and practice with the virtual flashcards found at this link: Free Flashcards about Kiowa Conversation (studystack.com)
